
4 Injured in Sacramento DUI Crash on Fulton Avenue
SACRAMENTO, CA (January 29, 2023) – Several were injured after a DUI crash on Fulton Avenue near Cottage Way in Sacramento.
According to the KCRA News and ABC 10 News, the accident took place on Sunday evening. Officers reported the wreck on January 29 at around 7:13 p.m.
The incident happened when a 30-year-old man was driving south on Fulton Avenue near Cottage Way in Sacramento. Police said he then struck three moving vehicles and three parked vehicles in the area.
At least two sedans and a big white van ended up damaged due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found a total of four people hurt.
2 Children Victims in Wreck
A toddler in the suspect vehicle sustained moderate injuries as a result of the accident. A child under the age of 10 from one of the victim cars survived with minor injuries.
A woman in her 20s and another adult in their 30s also obtained minor injuries in the wreck. Medical personnel then rushed the patients to the hospital for treatment.
The reports did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police determined that the 30-year-old driver was under the influence when he hit the victims.
They soon arrested him for DUI after the Sacramento crash. Officers forced a stretch of Fulton Avenue to shut down following the incident. The wreck is still under investigation.
