Suspect Escapes Scene Barefoot
SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA (April 10, 2016) – An elderly was hospitalized following a hit and run collision on Madison Avenue Saturday morning, according to Fox 40. (map)
The accident happened at around 11:20 a.m. near Garfield Avenue.
Preliminary report stated that the suspect’s vehicle was traveling on the roadway when it suddenly rear-ended a SUV driven by Kory Ridgeway.
The force caused Ridgeway‘s SUV to further hit a stopped vehicle in front of it.
The last vehicle to have been struck was occupied by a female motorist who was trying to drive her elderly mother to the hospital due to a heart condition.
The 3-vehicle mishap caused the elderly’s condition to worsen, as mentioned in the article.
A responding paramedic team rushed the elderly woman to a nearby medical facility for proper treatment of her sustained trauma.
Meanwhile, the suspect’s driver was abandoned at the scene. Witness claimed that the suspect evaded barefoot.
The Fox 40 published that the witnesses described the suspect to be a pacific islander, just under six feet tall, with long wavy hair.
