1 Killed, 2 Seriously Injured in Sacramento Crash at 42nd Street and Broadway
SACRAMENTO, CA (November 17, 2021) – A crash killed one person and seriously injured two others at 42nd Street and Broadway in Sacramento.
According to the CBS Sacramento and KCRA News, the tragic accident took place late Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 5:30 p.m.
Sacramento police said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the Oak Park neighborhood. They crashed at the intersection of 42nd Street and Broadway.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and confirmed that one victim died as a result of the incident. Two other people sustained major injuries due to the impact of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed both patients to a hospital for treatment. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, officials forced the area of 42nd Street and Broadway to shut down for hours following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Sacramento crash is still under investigation.
