1 Killed, 1 Critical in Traffic Collision at Freeport Boulevard and Blair Avenue Wednesday
Sacramento, CA (September 15, 2021) – A fatal car crash occurred Wednesday evening in the area of Freeport Boulevard and Blair Avenue.
The CBS Sacramento reported a solo-vehicle collision took place at the South Sacramento intersection. At this time, the make and model of the car involved in the incident remained unknown.
Shortly after 7:35 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found the automobile with major damage.
Deadly Car Crash in South Sacramento, September 15
Paramedics performed life-saving measures to at least one person. Sadly, the man succumbed to their injuries and died.
Authorities added a second person sustained major trauma as a result of the crash. An ambulance rushed the patient to a hospital where they were listed in critical condition.
The names of both the deceased and injured person remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Officers shut down the intersection of Freeport Boulevard and Blair Avenue to give way to the investigation process. Detectives continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the deadly car crash in Sacramento.
