2 Killed, 2 Injured in Sacramento Crash Near Garden Highway and Northgate Boulevard
SACRAMENTO, CA (August 7, 2022) – A car crash near Garden Highway and Northgate Boulevard killed two people and injured two others in Sacramento.
According to The Sacramento Bee and FOX 40 News, the tragic accident took place early Sunday. Officers reported the wreck at about 12:48 a.m.
Sacramento police said two cars collided for an unknown reason in the city. The vehicles crashed near the intersection of Garden Highway and Northgate Boulevard.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and pronounced a man and a woman riding one car dead at the scene.
The two occupants of the other vehicle ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed both patients to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, police forced the area of Garden and Northgate to shut down for hours following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Sacramento crash is still under investigation.
