
Motorcyclist Killed in Sacramento Crash Near Marysville and Arcade Boulevards
SACRAMENTO, CA (March 13, 2023) – A crash killed a motorcyclist near Marysville Boulevard and Arcade Boulevard in Sacramento.
According to the FOX 40 News and ABC 10 News, the tragic accident took place on Monday evening. Officers reported the wreck on March 13 shortly after 7 p.m.
Sacramento police said the incident happened when the motorcycle rider and a car collided for an unknown reason in the city.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The two crashed near the intersection of Marysville Boulevard and Arcade Boulevard. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found the motorcyclist down on the ground.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police added that the driver of the car stopped and stayed at the site following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Sacramento crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced Marysville Boulevard to shut down between Arcade and Sonoma boulevards for a time after the incident.
