Pedestrian Killed in Sacramento Car Accident on Arden Way
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Sept. 11, 2018) — A pedestrian died early Monday in a car accident on Arden Way north of Highway 160, Sacramento police said.
A response by the Sacramento Police Department and Sacramento Fire Department was made about 12:39 a.m. to the location of the crash in the 700 block of Arden Way, police said.
Shortly after their arrival, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver stopped and cooperated with the investigation into the cause of the crash.
Police closed down the roadway to allow the Major Collisions and Investigations unit to conduct its investigation.
Wrongful Death Investigation
The investigation into this collision is underway to determine fault. It’s unknown at this time who is at fault for this person’s death, but a determination will be made in an official police report.
