Sacramento Fatal Pedestrian Accident Roseville Road Near Golf Course

Pedestrian Killed in Sacramento Crash on Roseville Road Near Golf Course

SACRAMENTO, CA (February 24, 2023) – A crash killed a pedestrian on Roseville Road near a golf course in North Sacramento.

According to the KCRA News and CBS Sacramento, the tragic accident took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the collision on February 24 shortly after 6:40 p.m. 

Sacramento police said a car struck a male pedestrian for an unknown reason in the city. The vehicle hit him in the 3000 block of Roseville Road near the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found the man down on the ground. He sustained serious injuries as a result of the incident.

Medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.

Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver continued following the incident but officers soon found them. The cause of the fatal Sacramento pedestrian crash is still under investigation.

Officials forced a stretch of Roseville Road to shut down between Longview Drive and Auburn Boulevard for a time after the collision.
