Man Killed in Sacramento Hit-and-Run Crash on Roseville Road
SACRAMENTO (September 21, 2019) – An alleged hit-and-run crash killed a pedestrian along Roseville Road Friday evening.
The fatal accident took place on September 20 at around 7:47 p.m. near Connie Drive.
Police said a male pedestrian was hit for an unknown reason by a pickup truck which was headed west on Roseville Road. The force of the collision sent the man into the eastbound lane.
According to reports by The Sacramento Bee and ABC 10 News, another vehicle ultimately struck the victim.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the site and found the victim lying on the ground. He suffered major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene. His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the pickup stopped and cooperated with the authorities. However, the second car did not stop and was found abandoned at a nearby light rail station.
