SACRAMENTO, California (July 10, 2016) – Per the Sacramento Bee, George Iseri, 95, of Courtland, has been identified as the victim who died Tuesday of his injuries stemming from a hit-and-run collision back on Saturday, July 9th.
The incident took place at 10:16 a.m. when a sedan struck a truck which then careened into a third vehicle that had been stopped at Meadowview.
Per the Sacramento Bee, Iseri was seriously injured and was hospitalized at a trauma center before succumbing to his injuries on Tuesday.
At least one other party sustained injuries described as being moderate to serious.
The driver of the sedan who triggered the crash left the vehicle and took off on foot immediately following the crash.
At this time, no arrests have been made as police officials are searching for the suspect.
