1 Seriously Injured in Sacramento Hit-and-Run Crash at 15th Street and N Street
SACRAMENTO, CA (September 5, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a hit-and-run crash at 15th Street and N Street in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place early Sunday. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 2 a.m.
CHP said at least two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Sacramento. They crashed at the intersection of 15th Street and N Street.
2 Vehicles Collide
One car obtained damage to its driver side upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near 16th Street.
They attended to a total of three people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. CHP confirmed that one victim sustained major injuries, including a large laceration to their head.
Medical personnel then took that patient a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not stop to help and fled southbound on 15th Street. Officers forced the area of 15th Street and N Street to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Sacramento hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
