1 Injured in Sacramento Hit-and-Run Crash Near Auburn Boulevard and Morse Avenue
SACRAMENTO, CA (June 25, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured at least one person near Auburn Boulevard and Morse Avenue in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Friday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:41 a.m.
Their incident log said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Sacramento. They crashed near the intersection of Auburn Boulevard and Morse Avenue.
Driver Hits Another Motorist, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the Interstate 80. They found one victim left wounded as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the patient who sustained unspecified injuries upon impact. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP believed that the one of the drivers involved did not stop to help and fled the area. The cause of the Sacramento hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the eastbound Auburn Boulevard near Morse Avenue to close following the wreck. Authorities are still searching for the suspect.
