Sacramento Man, 58, Arrested on Hit-and-run Charges
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Feb. 20, 2025) — Lawrence Gallow, 58, of Sacramento, was arrested this week on hit-and-run charges for allegedly hitting a woman riding a scooter on Fair Oaks Boulevard in Sacramento.
The major injury collision occurred around 6:45 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14th, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
The suspect reportedly struck the woman on the scooter in the eastbound lanes of Fair Oaks Boulevard, between Campus Commons Road and Howe Avenue, police said.
Paramedics transported the injured woman to a hospital where she was treated and suffered permanent injuries, police said.
Investigators spent several days working on the case and eventually located and arrested 58-year-old Lawrence Gallow of Sacramento.
His charges are felony hit-and-run that resulted in permanent injury charges.
