1 Injured in Sacramento Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 50 Near Bradshaw
SACRAMENTO, CA (January 26, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash injured at least one person on Highway 50 near Bradshaw Road in Sacramento.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 12:50 p.m.
The incident happened when at least two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Sacramento. They crashed on the eastbound side of Highway 50 near Bradshaw Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one individual who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided aid to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not stop to help and fled the area. Officers forced the eastbound lanes of Highway 50 to shut down near Bradshaw following the incident.
The cause of the Sacramento hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
