1 Injured in Sacramento Hit-and-Run Crash at Howe Avenue and Cottage Way
SACRAMENTO, CA (June 25, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Howe Avenue and Cottage Way in Sacramento.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Friday night. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 8:03 p.m.
CHP said a black Toyota Camry and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Sacramento. They crashed at the intersection of Howe Avenue and Cottage Way.
2 Cars Collide Near Home Depot
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene in front of the Home Depot. They found an occupant of the Toyota who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the wreck. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded victim and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP believed that the driver of the other vehicle involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Authorities are still searching for the suspect.
Officers forced the intersection of Howe Avenue and Cottage Way to shut down following the collision. The Sacramento hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
