1 Injured in Sacramento Possible Hit-and-Run Crash at Marconi and Auburn

SACRAMENTO, CA (June 19, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Marconi Avenue and Auburn Boulevard in Sacramento.

The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Saturday morning. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 9:15 a.m.

CHP said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Sacramento. They crashed at the intersection of Marconi Avenue and Auburn Boulevard.

Multiple Cars Collide

The incident log described the three cars as a gray GMC Acadia, a gray Honda Civic and a red Ford Focus. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the 7-Eleven store.

Medical personnel found one person who complained of pain as a result of the collision. They then treated the patient for the minor injuries they sustained in the wreck.

Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded victim and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP believed that the one of the drivers involved fled the area.

Officers forced the intersection of Marconi Avenue and Auburn Boulevard to shut down following the collision. The Sacramento suspected hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
