At Least 1 Hurt in Traffic Collision on Dwight Eisenhower Highway Monday
Sacramento, CA (July 13, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred on Interstate 80, also known as Dwight Eisenhower Highway, Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, two vehicles collided in the eastbound side of the freeway. Officials described the cars involved in the wreck as a black Ford SUV and a gray sedan.
The two motorists crashed near the Northgate Boulevard onramp at about 3:35 p.m.
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediate rendered aid to all possible victims. The CHP log mentioned one driver complained of pain due to major injuries sustained in the collision. Additional details on the victims have not been discussed thus far.

The investigators later revealed one driver fled the scene before police arrived. At this time, detectives continue to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect in the crash on Interstate 80.
