1 Injured in Sacramento Hit-and-Run Crash at Power Inn and Gerber Roads
SACRAMENTO, CA (June 16, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Power Inn Road and Gerber Road in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck occurred early Wednesday. Officers reported the accident at about 12:08 a.m.
The incident log said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Sacramento. They crashed at the intersection of Power Inn and Gerber roads.
Driver Hits Another Car, Flees Scene
CHP described the cars involved as a Toyota Camry and another Toyota. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene and found one person hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the wreck. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the a driver involved abandoned their car and fled on foot. Officers forced the intersection of Power Inn and Gerber to close following the crash.
Authorities are still searching for the suspect. The Sacramento hit-and-run collision is still under investigation.
