Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Vehicles at Walerga Road and Galbrath Drive Monday
Sacramento, CA (December 16, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred in the area of Walerga Road and Galbrath Drive.
Hit-and-Run Crash in Sacramento, December 13
On December 13, Monday, multiple vehicles reportedly struck an individual at the busy intersection in North Sacramento. The California Highway Patrol group mentioned first responders found at the scene a dark green Toyota; and a silver Lexus. Officials believed a third vehicle was involved in the wreck. However, the third driver apparently fled the scene before police arrived.
Medical personnel arrived at the location shortly after 5:30 p.m. Paramedics rendered aid to the pedestrian found with injuries. Pending confirmation, the name of the victim and their age remained undisclosed.
Detectives stayed at the crash site the whole afternoon to determine several factors surrounding the incident. Further investigation is ongoing on the pedestrian accident at Walerga and Galbrath in Sacramento.
