SACRAMENTO: Man with Crane Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on Northgate Boulevard

Police said a 60-year-old man with a cane was hit by a vehicle while walking along the east side of Northgate Boulevard just after 1 a.m.

In an article by CBS Sacramento, police affirmed that the victim, described as an African American, suffered fatal injuries upon impact. His name is being withheld pending notification of family.

Meanwhile, the driver did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. Authorities did not have any description of the motorist and the car involved.
