Major Injury Collision at Elkhorn and I-80
Sacramento, CA (June 15, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred in the area of Elkhorn Boulevard and Interstate 80.
Auto vs. Motorcycle Crash in Sacramento
The California Highway Patrol group reported a man riding a motorcycle collided with another vehicle in the westbound side of I-80. Officials said the accident took place in the area where the freeway transitions to Elkhorn Boulevard.
CHP logged the case Tuesday around 10:58 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found at least one person with major trauma. It was not immediately confirmed if the motorcyclist was the victim in the crash. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the injured party, they transported them to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the traffic collision at Elkhorn Boulevard and Interstate 80.
