Major Injury 3-Vehicle Crash on State Route 99
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (August 31, 2023) — A multi-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle happened Thursday on Highway 99, just south of Mack Road in Sacramento.
The three-vehicle collision happened on the northbound SR-99 at 7:34 a.m. on August 31st, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a Tesla, the motorcycle rider and a third vehicle were involved. The motorcyclist went down in the No. 1 lane of State Route 99, police said.
The Sacramento Fire Department responded to the scene and located at least one person with major injuries, but there were no further details.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Sacramento motorcycle accident on Highway 99.
