Motorcycle Rider Injured in Collision on Date Avenue Sunday
Sacramento, CA (April 18, 2021) – A traffic accident involving a motorcycle rider occurred Sunday afternoon on Date Avenue Sunday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a motorcyclist struck a pole in the 5400 block of Date Avenue in Sacramento. Officials believed a second vehicle forced the rider to veer off the roadway, and eventually crash into a pole.
Shortly after 1:15 p.m., medical personnel responded to the incident. Firefighter paramedics rendered aid to the rider found at the accident scene. After the evaluation, CHP confirmed the motorcyclist suffered major injuries as a result of the incident. Additional details on the victim have not been revealed thus far.
Possible Hit-and-Run Crash on Date Avenue in North Sacramento, April 18
The CHP dispatch mentioned another motorist involved in the wreck fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect in the motorcycle accident on Date Avenue.
