Major Injury Collision Near Bypass
Sacramento, CA (January 28, 2023) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Officials said a man riding a black motorcycle collided with a silver Lexus sedan in the southbound side of I-5 near Bypass in West Sacramento.
CHP logged the case on January 26, Thursday.
Motorcyclist Injured in Sacramento Traffic Accident on Interstate 5
Emergency crews responded to the crash site shortly after 5:49 p.m. When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the rider found lying on the ground. Paramedics rendered first aid to the injured motorcyclist and later transported them to a hospital for further treatment. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the traffic collision that happened on Interstate 5 in Sacramento.
