Motorcyclist Injured in 5-Vehicle Car Accident on US 50
WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. (May 14, 2024) — A motorcycle rider was injured Tuesday morning in a crash on Highway 50, just east of the eastbound Interstate 80 Freeway in West Sacramento.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred at around 9:50 a.m. on May 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the motorcyclist, a black Kia, a white Ford Fiesta, a maroon Honda, and a black SUV collided in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of US 50 due to unknown circumstances.
The Yolo Fire Department responded to help those injured including the motorcycle rider who was transported to Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento due to minor injuries.
A tow truck removed the damaged motorcycle from the roadway.
Finally, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Highway 50.
