Motorcycle Rider Injured in Sacramento Hit-and-Run Crash on Watt Avenue
SACRAMENTO, CA (October 15, 2020) – An alleged hit-and-run crash along Watt Avenue injured a motorcycle rider in Sacramento on Thursday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers received a call about the traffic accident shortly after 8 p.m. They reported the wreck at the location of 3455 Watt Avenue.
CHP said two vehicles struck the motorcyclist for an unknown reason on Watt Avenue in front of the Grocery Outlet. The dispatch described one of the cars involved as a blue Corvette.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the rider hurt upon impact. The victim suffered unspecified injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the wounded party. The report log did not disclose the name of the motorcycle operator and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, at least one driver did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Officers forced the Nos 1 and 2 lanes to briefly close following the crash.
Authorities are still looking for the hit-and-run motorist.
