SACRAMENTO, California (May 7, 2014) – A motorcyclist suffered major injuries Wednesday afternoon in a crash with the driver of a silver Dodge Caravan in front of a residence at 5030 Winding Way, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 12:36 p.m., CHP officers responded to the collision and reported the rider was in shock and required medical assistance. Sacramento County Fire sent out paramedics to assist the injured motorcycle rider. The injured rider was then taken to Mercy San Juan Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
The green and white 1998 Honda motorcycle was impounded for evidence following the accident.
“Police are investigating this crash to determine liability for this rider’s injuries,” said Attorney James Johnson. “Hopefully this man or woman pulls through and has a complete recovery.”
