The crash took place about 8:06 a.m.in the middle lanes with the bike in the No. 2 lane. The report indicates the pickup truck may have kept driving, but was eventually pulled over or stopped. The Sacramento Fire Department responded to help those involved in the crash who were hurt.
A police investigation into liability for the collision is underway. A motorcyclist involved in a collision is not only vulnerable to injuries, but is often blamed for the crash. It’s easy for insurance companies to assign fault to a rider and without witnesses and concrete evidence, it could be an uphill battle. That’s why it’s so important to reach out to a personal injury attorney for help with an insurance claim. Our experienced personal injury law firm can help by conducting an independent investigation into liability.
