Multi-vehicle Crash on Highway 99 in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Sept. 24, 2019) — A tow truck hauling a vehicle was among four vehicles involved in an injury crash Tuesday on Highway 99 near Fruitridge Road.
The collision took place at 10:24 a.m. between the tow truck, a semi-tractor trailer truck, a silver Honda and a blue pickup truck, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicles were blocking the middle and slow lanes of the highway. Paramedics were called to help at least one person who suffered a lower leg injury and had complaints of back pain after the crash. The person was transported to Kaiser for further treatment.
There were no further details in the report.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating this incident.
