SACRAMENTO, California (March 22, 2016) — A multi-vehicle collision involving undisclosed injuries was reported Tuesday afternoon on the southbound State Route Highway 99 at the Sutterville Road off ramp, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 3:48 p.m. today in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes. The vehicles involved were described as a green Honda Civic, white Toyota truck with camper shell, silver Lexus, blue pickup truck, a white Toyota truck with wood rack and a gold Toyota pickup truck.
At least one woman suffered a neck injury in the crash and was holding her neck, but she declined medical attention at the scene.
The silver Lexus suffered front and rear-end damage in the crash and it was towed from the scene along with other vehicles including two of the pickup trucks.
Police will investigate the cause of the crash to determine liability.
