SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Feb. 7, 2023) — A crash involving five vehicles happened Tuesday morning on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway, just south of 43rd Avenue.
The crash occurred about 7:43 a.m. on Feb. 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the vehicles involved were a black Mercedes Benz, a white Toyota Tacoma, a white Tesla, a silver Toyota and one other vehicle.
The vehicles blocked the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes and two of the cars were struck together, the report said.
Paramedics with the Sacramento Fire Department were on scene to help those injured in the wreck, but there are no further details.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Sacramento crash on the Interstate 5 Freeway.
