Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Power Inn and Gerber Road Thursday
Sacramento, CA (August 26, 2021) – A pedestrian accident occurred Thursday evening in the area of Power Inn and Gerber Road, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Earlier reports indicated a vehicle struck a male party at the South Sacramento intersection. At this time, the make and model of the car involved in the collision remained unknown.
The CHP logged the incident around 9:30 p.m.

When emergency teams arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian with major injuries. Paramedics provided first aid at the scene, then transferred the patient to a hospital for further treatment. Pending confirmation, the name of the victim and their age remained undisclosed.
The driver reportedly stayed at the crash site and cooperated with the investigation process. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine exactly how and why the pedestrian accident at Power Inn and Gerber Road happened.
