Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Sacramento Crash Near Florin Road and Florin Perkins
SACRAMENTO, CA (July 1, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after an accident near Florin Road and Florin Perkins Road in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the collision took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the incident at about 10:06 a.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Sacramento. The driver struck the person near the intersection of Florin Road and Florin Perkins Road.
Victim Hit by Vehicle Near Store Parking Lot
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the parking lot of Quik Stop store. They found the victim who sustained major injuries as a result of the crash.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Florin Road and Florin Perkins Road to shut down following the crash. They did not mention if the motorist involved stopped after hitting the person.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Sacramento pedestrian collision.
