Pedestrian Injured in Sacramento Crash Near F and 29th Streets

SACRAMENTO, CA (May 25, 2023) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash near F and 29th streets in midtown Sacramento.

According to an article published by the CBS Sacramento, the accident took place on Tuesday night. Officers reported the collision on May 23 shortly before 9:20 p.m.

Sacramento police said for an unknown reason a vehicle plowed into a fence and then struck the pedestrian in the city. The driver hit the person near the intersection of F and 29th streets.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the victim who ended up hurt as a result of the incident.

Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, police did not mention if the motorist involved stopped and stayed at the site following the accident. Officers forced the area of F and 29th streets to shut down after the collision.

The cause of the Sacramento pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
