Major Injury Collision on Highway 99 at 47th Avenue Friday
Sacramento, CA (September 10, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 99, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Primary reports indicated a vehicle struck an individual in the northbound side of the highway in Sacramento. Officials said the collision took place near 47th Avenue onramp.

Shortly after 6:03 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. The California Highway Patrol log confirmed the pedestrian sustained major trauma as a result of the incident. An ambulance was called to the scene, to transport the patient to a hospital for treatment.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the pedestrian accident on State Route Highway 99 in Sacramento.
