Pedestrian Injured in Sacramento Hit-and-Run on Watts Avenue and Highway 51
SACRAMENTO, CA (July 30, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian on Watts Avenue and Highway 51 in Sacramento.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Friday morning. Officers reported the incident shortly after 9 a.m.
According to CHP, a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Sacramento. The driver hit the victim on the Watts Avenue and Highway 51 transition.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Wendy’s restaurant. They found the person left hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the pedestrian and fled the area. Officers closed the Watts Avenue and Highway 51 transition following the collision.
Authorities are still investigating the Sacramento hit-and-run crash.
