Pedestrian Injured in Sacramento Hit-and-Run Crash Near Power Inn and Gerber
SACRAMENTO (June 1, 2020) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after an alleged hit-and-run crash in the area of Power Inn and Gerber roads last week on Friday.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team reported the accident on May 29 at about 10:13 p.m. on southbound Power Inn, south of Gerber.
According to their incident log, a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason near the intersection of Power Inn and Gerber roads.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the victim left suffering from unspecified injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel transported the patient to Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center for treatment. The name and condition of the wounded party at this time were not available.
Meanwhile, officers affirmed that the driver involved apparently took off after hitting the victim. CHP described the suspect car as a white Toyota 4Runner.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
