SACRAMENTO, California (April 4, 2016) – According to California Highway Patrol dispatch team, a pedestrian accident took place at the intersection of Howe Avenue and Wyda Way on Monday night.
CHP first logged the incident when a female pedestrian was found down in the roadway following the crash at 8:18 p.m.
As per the dispatch, the victim was struck by an unknown vehicle in the area. A witness said the pedestrian apparently could not move due to the force of the collision.
Paramedics were requested to attend to the victim who may have suffered injuries.
Authorities will gather more information and evidence to determine the cause of the accident.
