Victim Hospitalized
SACRAMENTO, California (April 1, 2016) – A pedestrian was injured in a collision in the area of Madison Avenue and Auburn Boulevard on Friday, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
CHP first logged the incident when a pedestrian in a motorized wheelchair was struck by a vehicle at 5:30 p.m., near El Pollo Loco restaurant.
As per the dispatch, Sacramento Fire Department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to Mercy San Juan Medical Center with injuries considered as minor.
Authorities will continue to gather more evidence and information to determine the cause of the incident.
