Minor Injury Collision at Gerber Road and Bar Du Lane Thursday
Sacramento, CA (September 30, 2021) – A traffic accident involving a school bus occurred Thursday morning in the area of Gerber Road and Bar Du Lane.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the school bus collided with a red Toyota Tundra at the Sacramento intersection. The force from the impact instantly deployed the airbags of the Toyota Tundra.

Rescue teams arrived at the site shortly after 7:25 a.m. First responders reportedly found the male driver of the Toyota trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters at the scene worked extensively to pull out the victim. After the successful extrication process, an ambulance transported the injured party to the hospital for treatment. Authorities continue to withhold the name of the patient pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the school bus driver and the passengers.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the traffic accident at Gerber Road and Bar Du Lane.
