Major Injury Collision Near Jefferson Boulevard Onramp Saturday
Sacramento, CA (March 13, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on Highway 50 Saturday morning.
Auto vs. Tour Bus Accident on Highway 50 in Sacramento
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a tour bus collided with a Toyota Prius in the westbound side of the highway in Sacramento. Earlier reports indicated the accident took place in the area near Jefferson Boulevard onramp.
Emergency crews responded to the crash site shortly after 9:12 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. The CHP log confirmed one person from the Prius sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. Personal information on the injured party have not been discussed thus far.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the traffic accident on Highway 50 in Sacramento.
