Semi-Truck, Car Collision on State Route Highway 99
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Sept. 10, 2021) — A Sacramento truck, car crash on Highway 99 at the eastbound Florin Road off ramp happened Friday morning.
The two-vehicle crash happened about 8:52 a.m. on Sept. 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision led to major traffic in the area as vehicles blocked the highway, police said.
Meanwhile, it’s unknown what led up to the Sacramento truck and car crash that left the silver Kia Rio smoking and facing the wrong way in the No. 3 lane.
Major Injury Crash on State Route 99, Florin Road
Additionally, the Sacramento Fire Department responded and transported one person with major injuries to a hospital, the CHP reports. The police dispatch report does not identify how many were hurt, nor does it release their age and gender, according to the report.
Investigators seek to determine liability for the Sacramento truck, car crash on Highway 99, police said.
