Sadeghi Taraneh, 31, ID’d as Suspect in Burbank Hit-and-Run at Glenoaks and Palm
BURBANK, CA (November 30, 2021) – Authorities detained Sadeghi Taraneh after a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured two pedestrians in Burbank.
Police identified the 31-year-old Burbank woman as the suspect in the collision took place on Tuesday morning.
The incident began when Sadeghi Taraneh was driving east on Palm Avenue toward Glenoaks Boulevard in Burbank. She failed to stop at the marked limit before a stop sign as she tried to make a right turn.
In the process, her vehicle struck an adult pedestrian and a child in a stroller. The CBS Los Angeles and My News LA wrote that the accident occurred at about 8:55 a.m.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found both victims hurt. They ended up suffering from serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed them to a hospital and listed them in stable condition. The reports did not release the name of the wounded parties.
Meanwhile, police that Sadeghi Taraneh did not stop to help the pedestrians and fled the area. They soon located the car near Alameda Avenue and Flower Street.
Officers arrested Sadeghi Taraneh and booked her on suspicion of felony hit-and-run in lieu of a $100,000 bail. The cause of the Burbank hit-and-run is still under investigation.
