Bicyclist Hurt in Collision on Highway 219 Saturday
Salida, CA (June 13, 2021) – On June 12, a traffic accident involving a bicycle rider occurred on State Route 219 in Salida.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a vehicle struck the cyclist at the intersection of Highway 219 and Sisk Road.
According to the CHP dispatch, the vehicle involved in the wreck appeared to be a blue Porsche.
Minor Injury Car and Bicycle Accident in Salida [June 12]
Medical personnel arrived at the location at about 1:40 p.m. The CHP log mentioned a female cyclist sustained minor injuries as a result of the mishap. An ambulance responded to the scene but it remained unclear whether paramedics transported the victim to a hospital.
Additional details on the bicycle accident in Salida have not been revealed thus far. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the crash happened.
