Motorcyclist Suffers Major Injury in Crash
SALIDA, Calif. (Sept. 21, 2023) — A major injury motorcycle accident happened Thursday on Highway 99, just south of Hammett Road in Salida.
The two-vehicle collision occurred on the northbound Golden State Highway around 5:40 a.m. on Sept. 21st, according to the California Highway Patrol report.

The driver of a vehicle collided with the motorcyclist in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of State Route 99, the report said.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured motorcycle rider to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed major injuries from the accident.
A tow truck removed the damaged bike from the freeway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Highway 99 in Salida.
