
2-Vehicle Crash at Salinas Intersection
MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (August 23, 2024) — A two-vehicle car accident happened Friday morning at West Blanco Road and Davis Road in Salinas.
The traffic accident occurred at 2:45 p.m. on August 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
SUV Overturns on West Blanco Road
CHP officials report the drivers of a silver Nissan Frontier and a black Chevrolet Tahoe SUV were involved. One of the vehicles was sideways across the eastbound and westbound lanes and the other was facing the wrong way following the crash. The black vehicle also overturned in the collision, the report said.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with a minor injury, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the intersection.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the car accident on westbound W. Blanco Road in Salinas. Also, the report stated there was possibly a hit-and-run driver involved.
