SALINAS, Calif. (April 20, 2023) — A two-vehicle car accident happened Thursday morning at Hitchcock Road and Davis Road the rural part of South Salinas.
The collision occurred around 6:40 a.m. on April 20th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a blue GMC Envoy and a gray Ford Mustang were involved.

Apparently, the Mustang was turning left from Davis onto Hitchcock when the oncoming Envoy struck the car at the intersection.
The Mustang was “totaled” in the crash, police said. Both vehicles required tow trucks to remove them from the roadway.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to help those injured in the Salinas crash on Hitchcock Road.
The California Highway Patrol is heading up the investigation.
