Salinas crash Harkins Hunter
1 Injured in Salinas Crash Near Harkins Road and Hunter Lane
SALINAS, CA (June 10, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash near Harkins Road and Hunter Lane in Salinas.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 2:30 p.m.
CHP said two Honda sedans collided for an unknown reason in Salinas. They crashed near the intersection of Harkins Road and Hunter Lane.
Car Collision Near Highway 101
Both cars sustained front-end damage as a result of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Highway 101.
They found one person who complained of pain to their stomach and left body following the wreck. Medical personnel then took the patient to the Natividad Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Harkins Road and Hunter Lane to close following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Salinas crash.
