Salinas, CA (July 1, 2021) – A suspected DUI car crash occurred in the area of San Juan Grade and Boronda Road in Salinas, the KSBW News reported.

Officials said a 22-year-old man was behind the wheel of a Ford Mustang traveling in the streets of Salinas. When the Mustang approached the intersection of San Juan Grade and Boronda, the alleged drunk allowed the car to veer off the roadway.

According to the article published online, the Mustang ended up crashing into a power pole at the crossing. The force from the impact resulted in major front-end damage to the vehicle.

Medical personnel arrived at the site shortly after the incident. Our sources indicated a passenger in the Mustang sustained injuries as a result of the collision. Pending confirmation, the name of the victim and the extent of their trauma remained undisclosed.
