1 Killed, 2 Hurt
The crash involving a Honda Civic and GMC Yukon occurred at 6:35 p.m., in the northbound lanes of the Highway, just south of Somavio Road.
As per the dispatch, paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that at least one person was killed in the traffic incident. Other medical personnel attended to and provided treatment to two people who reportedly sustained minor injuries following the wreck.
The name of the deceased and the identities and condition of the wounded parties were not immediately known.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
